Changing FriendlyArm splash logo?

wanderer
Hello,

I changed the boot-logo (the one with a loading bar) of the device to a
custome one but the one that says FriendlyArm and WindowsCE.NET 5.0 still
appears when booting... any way of changing that?!

Thanks!

just search for the file named embedsky.c in hal folder and change its
array according to your logo you have to use software that generates a
bitmap to a c code array just replace the file and enjoy

i have done it and tested it its working 100% ok

best regards

Hello,

Just create a simple (small) bmp (24bit) picture (res:240x360 or smaller);
open DNW and when connected, press the 'l';
transfer over USB;

That is all.

Now when the image is loading your pic is ON..

For changing the other pic (CE6.0 loadTime), you do like Engr. Mohazzab

Oh yea,

in the:

transfer over USB;

line i forgot to mention to select the original bmp, not the C Array file!

the new supervivi(version: 0945) can support bigger bootlogo file, up to 2M
size bmp file.

you can download it at www.arm9.net/download.asp
