[Micro2440] 0x3FA80000 for toort ?
Even on a 256M Flash you can't set the root size to 256M as there are a few other things MAY have to go into flash. For example (64M dev board): 0: u-boot 0x00040000 0x00000000 0 1: env 0x00020000 0x00040000 0 2: kernel 0x00500000 0x00060000 0 3: root 0x03aa0000 0x00560000 0 3aa000 is 61472768. The rest add up to 5636096, which comes to a total of 67,108,864. If you have u-boot in NOR I guess this could give you a bit more room. There was another post recently where the owner realised that he REALLY did have a 1GB flash not 256M as he thought. Part number on your flash? Are you using the a u-boot from buserror?
i have u-boot-nand2k.bin that i have compiled. part number from my flash ? hown can i see my part number ? thx
Part number? Magnifying glass and read it off the flash chip. K9F2G08 256 MB NAND Flash K9F8G08 1024 MB NAND Flash
