MiniTool not detecting the development board

Hi, I am new to Linux. I am using friendlyARM Micro2440. As per the manual
I installed Minitools on my system which has Ubuntu Linux. 

Now when I am connecting the development board i.e. Micro2440 the Minitool
is not detecting the board. Please suggest me any solution.
