NanoPi-2 : get starting problems

sdobridnuk
Hello all !

I have got the card, it's have a good assembly. But i have a lot of
questions concerning the operation with this card
1) What size of micro-SD is needed (All the SD card are original - Sandisk,
Transcend etc.) ? I used 8Gb as reccomended, but the system has become a
swear there is "not enough free memory". Before this i took 4Gb (Class 10)
- but i hav a question- will i stable work with it?
2) Download procedure of Android is extremely unstable. System has hangs on
the splash screen, it is not clear how much time is necessary to start,
sometimes flashes LCD Light (1 time ~ 5 seconds). I did not understand -
how i will define - start android or not. I Changing the card, re-record
image, press the reset, turning the power on/off. It feels like it's just a
random case
3) Even after the boot as Android, with almost 100% certainty when you
restart it again - the board will not start. I do not know why - but
probably something important is lost. I try do through staffing pressing
and shutdown - it seems that it is more often "kills" system. For the smart
home needs a stable and reliable start - and then the system is stable,
"killed"

I understand - It's a completely new board - but unstable build software
can spoil the whole business. After over 2 days - I did not have a working
board with Android- after each power-off i have the risk of getting back
"zeroing" system

Hi Thank you very much for choosing our board. Please check my comments

--- Please check our wiki:

where we presented two cards we used

--- Please check our wiki where we modified download sources for
international customers and it should be more stable now.In addition we
updated our Android system

--- Could you give me more details? Some pictures would be better. I would
suggest you post your new thread to our new forum:

And typicaly log where android boot procedure was abnormally crashed

It's some log where android boot procedure was abnormally crashed

As you can see the boot process going on some sort of complete nonsense.
I think there is a lot of problem in h/w and s/w drivers capability when OS
are writing information into the SD card, because after several booting
procedures, the SD card becomes totally off and I need to overwrite the
image (I tried SD cards from different original good manufacturers -
Sandisk and Transcend too - the result is the same - the original image
irreversibly deteriorated.

(I use original touch screen S70 for display )

Thank you very much for your help ! The second board that you sent - works
great (apparently the first board has a factory defect). I more and more
like this product. I think its "killer application" for raspberry Pi 2 !

Best regards, Serge
