DHCP/BOOTP: Ignoring delayed packet

I get this error message when booting a Mini2451 if I add a "ip=" option to
the Linux-CommandLine in FriendlyARM.ini, whether the argument is dhcp or a
fixed IP address. Some posts on a TI forum suggest that this can happen if
the bootloader also tries to initialize the network interface. So, does
Superboot initialize the network interface and how can I stop it from doing
that?
