board not start when gpio connect with buffre 74HC541

dear all

i made a one gpio driver and i connect this gpio with 74hc541 buffer ic .

when i boot the board , board can not start and when i remover gpio
connector from buffer ic and do reset then board start. and after that when
i connect again gpio connector to buffer ic it is completly working.

then what is problem at starting???

Might help to post your GPIO  driver code and the schematic of your buffer
IC.

I'll take a wild guess ... is the presence of the buffer detected somehow
by the system?  Chip select or an enable line?
