No O/P from mini2440 in NOR flash mode

Hello,

   I have connected a mini2440 (ARM 9 Kit with TFT) to my Ubuntu 14.x based
Linux machine via a USB-Serial cable. When I switch to NOR Flash boot mode,
I get no output on the terminal window. I have tried using putty and screen
setting the baud rate to 115200 and flow control to None.

   Can someone tell if anything could be wrong ? Help appreciated.

Do you know the history of this machine?

I use minicom for this purpose, I imagine you have Putty setup to receive
on the correct comm port.

If nothing shows up you may have to JTAG your bootloader back into NOR.

While you are at this stage you might want to change from SuperVivi to
Superboot.  There are quite a few threads about <mini2440 Superboot>.

I haven't done this, so I don't know how the change is made.
