Installing on to Nanopc-t1

Snacknuts
I'm new to the ARM SOC world.

I'm trying to find a wiki or other instructions on how I can install a
distribution (ubuntu, debian, arch, gentoo, etc) onto a nanopc-t1. Can
anyone point me to a resource on how I can do this?

Thanks! :)

If you are not an embedded Linux guru you are wasting your time at this
point. There is some compiled sources for Linux and Ubuntu but other than
that NanoPC owners are in the dark. The little poorly written available is
most the time 50% english 50% chinese. It will take some time for this
board to develop a support group if ever. Better have a look at a more
mainstream board such a Ordoid, BeagleBoard, etc. Its a pitty since it is a
great piece of hardware with such potential.

I have installed xUbuntu 13.10 following this guide:
http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/NanoPC

-Translate for all language
-lan works
-usb and SD works (Type in terminal "sudo chmode -R 777 /media/t1/")

I use it as DLNA server ;) (Serviio)

Make sure to change the sources.list to EOL update, otherwise you can not
download any program!!! https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades
