How to config H43 resistive touch for nanopc-t1

Arman Safikhani
Hi,

I have installed android on my nanopc-t1, but I am unable to get my H43 Lcd
to get to work, it shows a white screen all the time. (Android image
downloaded from this page : http://nanopc.org/Support_Download.html)

I followed the instructions in this page : http://nanopc.org/dev/224.html
Somewhere in this page it is mentioned that : "If you use the TFT LCD with
Resistive touchsreen, Download this FriendlyARM.ini file, and replace it."

But the hosted file is corrupted or something, I couldn't download it.

So, What configs exactly do I need to have in my FriendlyARM.ini file?

Any help would be appreciated.

Arman

I have the exact same problem. i have w35i and 4.3 inch touchscreen. the
only image i got is pure white image thats all.

Arman
I have emailed a dozen times about this problem to friendlyarm,
andahammer.com , nanopc.org, none of the sites did respond.

It's a shame that a company can not provide least supports. They didn't
even respond the phone calls.
I think our farm would giving up using this nresponsive company devices.

Arman
Why nobody answers me?!

Do I need to install lcd adapter (http://nanopc.org/FT-LCD1833.html) ?

Is there some other configurations I am missing?!

Pleaaaaaaasssse somebody help me.

Hi Arman,
I've just got nanopc-t1 and found out that to connect it to the LCD we must
use FT-LCD1833 board. (I need to order it and wait for about a month...)
It's for converting the levels from 1.8 V (board) to 3.3V (LCD).

Arman
Hey Anatoly,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

The NanoPC and FriendlyArm documentations and guides really suck...
They will get 0 out of 100 in technical and after-sale support.

I emailed them (arm9.net, friendlyarm, nanopc) dozen times and didn't
receive one single email :|

I'll order an FT-LCD1833 and check if it helps.

I really appreciate your help!

Hi Arman,
Cannot be sure, but hope it'll help.
I got the board on Friday and didn't know about the converter.
Also need to think maybe a cheap HDMI monitor will be better. Due to
shipping is three times bigger than the converter costs itself.
Anyway I'll try to get FT-LCD1833 too.
Thanks, regards.

i bought 10 nano pc t1 and 10 different kind of lcds. and none of them
works.. i mean w35i,h43,n43 etc...

i bought all from andahammer. and nobody mentioned that i need a converter
unit. i dont care about the price but i dont have time.

the funny thing is.. NANOPC only answers for 1 email.. when i told that i
ll buy some units. :)))

Arman
They are very very disappointing people. I will never ever again buy
anything from them.

I contacted andahammer, arm9.net CoreWind, FriendlyARM,
THEY DIDN'T ANSWER EVEN A SINGLE EMAIL.

I am switching to ODROID-U3.

At least they are honest people, they ANSWER you, CARE about your problems.
