Do you mean, shutdown your Mini2440 from the PC. I dont think this to be possible. As far as I know there is not a software option to shoutdown the board (the power switch is hardwired)
Connect Relay. Electromechanical or electronic switch. Control it using one bit of GPIO. You can turn of your board from another country via Internet.
