Serial Cable on mini2440

Hi All
             My first post and it is very low tech.Using a Mini 2440 which
I purchased off Ebay.
BUT I cannot get DNW to work on the serial port .
I have configured both usb and serial ports and I get display on top line
of DNW as serial port on com 4 @115  USB OK

BUT cannot communicate via serial link so do not get any display on my PC
screen.

I have tried several null modem cables( Via USB to Serial ) but does anyone
have pin outs so I can construct a cable .

You need a normal serial cable with straight - not crossed - connection (rx
-> rx and tx -> tx).

Hi Andreas thanks for that.
Now got DNW working and then got stuck not be able to find the right files
to download Linux ,BUT ONLY AFTER I HAD ERASED WIN CE 2.6.
Now have got Linux installed but the front screen is all in Chinese
although once you click on any icon the subsequent page or app is in
English.
I will get there soon.

Brian. Under the tab with colored balloons, there is a red icon of a PRC
flag over a Union Jack. That is the language selection icon in Qtopia.

Sussed all now and got Qtopia 
fully working .
But would like to get Win CE6 on to it sometime but cannot 
find the right files to download . And I do not have a CD for it.
