Hi, i am using debian and minicom to dial with my mini2440, it seems to work fine. I download u-boot on the nand but i can't do anything because minicom print some weird character as ?$%@. I can't know what happen and i don't know the problem. I set the configuration as 115200 N81 no control. I have tried on an other PC and it did the same. Any help please Thanks
I found, it was about my minicom version. I upgrade to 2.6.1 version and it is working fine. Strange thing
It was a mistake, it still don't work, i don't know what to do. I try with putty, minicom, other serial port communication and i have still the problem. I can't load linux, i don't know what happen. If any body could help me. i found nothing on the web. thanks
Do you run your minicom inside a virtual machine? My experience is serial communication inside a VM is very unstable. At least if Linux is the guest and Windows the host.
