Ethernet Resetting

I have a single mini2440 device that continually disconnects and reconnects
to a particular switch over and over again and never stays connected for
more then a second.

We have connected about 30 other mini2440 devices to this particular switch
with no problems. They are all running the same software and OS. (Angstrom)

The mini2440 device with the issue will connect to the other switches we
tested correctly.

Is there a pair in the ethernet wire that the mini2440 relies on to enable
the ethernet to work?

Has any one else witnessed this issue before?

I can't advise specifically on your issue but the schematic for the 2440
should be available either from the download page on this site or from the
ftp site (that's mentioned at the bottom of the download page on this
site), once you have it you should be able to see if there is anything
specific there.
