Android and GSM module

Hi all,

The other day I plugged in a Huawei E1550 modem to my Tiny210 and I was
able to send an SMS but now it does not work. I also noticed that the
correct APN showed up in the mobile settings but again, I can't get this to
repeat.

Also, I don't seem to be able to receive any SMS via the modem, even when
it was working.

Anyone been able to get SMS to work? 

I now have the source building and working so I am able to work on a custom
solution but would appreciate if anyone has this working already.

You need Huawei Android RIL for making calls and sms work.  You need
Android source code of Friendly ARM board and you need to know how to
compile the same
