Linux Device Drivers project

I am trying to find an application or work as a part of a project that
requires implementation of device drivers under Linux.
I have the mini 2440 board but I don't have ideas!
If anyone is interested or looking for assistance I am seeking to learn by
practicing rather than just reading a book.
