Hello, I'm having a problem with adding a Wifi driver for my USB Wireless dongle Model:VNT6656GUA00. I installed the VNWLC6.msi and added the VNT VNWLC6 Wireless LAN under the Third Party->Device drivers in the Catalog. So under the Subprojects there si the VNWLC6 project. I first tried to create a new NK.bin with the wanted Wifi support and it all stops at the line that is saying this: Error: Module VNWLC6.dll built for I386, kernel built for Thumb So i tried to build the subproject, but there is a error in my postlik.bat saying: BUILD: [01:0000000022:ERRORE] postlink.bat failed - rc = 1 and the subprojects postlink.bat is the following: rem - copy dll and pdb to flatreleasedir copy Target\%_TGTCPU%\%WINCEDEBUG%\VNWLC6.* %_FLATRELEASEDIR% copy Target\%_TGTCPU%\%WINCEDEBUG%\VNWLC6.* %_PROJECTROOT%\cesysgen\oak\target\%_TGTCPU%\%WINCEDEBUG% What am i not seeing ? Thanks in advance, b
VNWLC6 CE 6.0 Subproject
Hello, Well, this is not good, becouse i really need the WiFi module on my mini. Has anyone succeded with this module on ARMIV arhitecture ? Thanks, b
Hello, Well, the driver for CE 5.0 would be great, but i can't find it. Hopefully it can be compiled for ARMIV. Oh, if you own the driver, you could point it to me. Thanks, b
Hello, I found the drivers for this WLAN USB Dongle. I added them to the forum, so anyone can download them fast ;) The Attachment contains the drivers for CE 5.0 and CE 6.0. Good Day, b
Hi Boštjan, with the driver uploaded by you, when you add in Platform Builder, I get this error and Visual Studio resets: "Si č verificato il seguente errore durante l'analisi XML: File: c:\wince600\3rdparty\vnt\vnuwlc6\PlatformBuilderTempProject.vcproj Riga: 91 Colonna: 5 Messaggio di errore: Errore irreparabile File 'c:\wince600\3rdparty\vnt\vnuwlc6\PlatformBuilderTempProject.vcproj' non caricato."
Dear all, I would like to use WiFi also with my board, but I'm facing the same problem : WinCE 6.0 drivers are for X86 architecture only. I have asked VIA for drivers on their website, after a first useless answer (please visit the FAQs, download section and so on), I sent a second message and I'm waiting for the answer. I'll let you know if I get something interesting.
Hello, Yea, VIA is really uninterested about adding drivers support for ARM architecture. I have currently paused the mission to add the WiFi support to the Mini2440. Now I'm working on a Silverlight application in CE 6.0 with the R3 update, that supports this functionality. So hopefully the drivers are available as soon as possible. Good day, b
My VT6656 wifi usb key don't work under CE 6.0. But it is possible to find some wifi rndis usb keys that don't need dedicated drivers. I wrote an article on my website : http://www.domodom.fr/spip/spip.php?article28&lang=en domdom
I followed your guide using a NETGEAR WiFi ( http://www.netgear.com/Products/Adapters/SuperGWirelessAdapters/WG111T.aspx ) but asked me to insert the driver. I used WinCE 5.
I only tested USRobotics key, but I just added in my article some references of keys that are based on the same chipset (and that are likely to be RNDIS, but I'm not sure of that)
Yes, I'm very interested, please could send it to me at the following address : l3dkzmtz8sdnr0x@jetable.net ? (or explain me how to download it). Do you have the source code ? Thanks in advance domdom
if maybe, i think i need vt6656 ce 6.0 driver about arm .I am puzzle about the Rndis. my email:caichang714@hotmail.com
Hello allenpan, Please if you have the driver, give it on-line somehow. About the caichang RNDIS; it does not work with the vnt6656 dongle... Good day, b
I had contact with VIA tech support asking them for the WinCE6 driver. They sent me the driver (binary, no sources) for MX27. Last weekend, I built an NK.bin with these drivers, and I can confirm that they work on the Mini2440. Please find attached the archive containing the driver.
Hey,Milan van den Muyzenberg can you post an NK.bin with this driver for a 3.5' mini2440? I don't have plataform builder. Please Thanks,
HeyHo, Yea, i tested it and it works, it recognized the device and loaded the driver transparently. It was allso shown in the network connections, but i didn't figure it out how to connect to a WPA2 network at home. I tried to create an other network with 64-bit encription, but don't know how to connect... Need fo figure it out... Thanks for the dll and Good day, b
Hey, I got it to work, all that was needed was the WiFi support under the Comunications services and Networking-> Networking - Local Area Network(LAN)-> Wireless LAN And it even works with WPA2 Encription... Good job Mr. Milan van den Muyzenberg Thanks and good day, b
I try the the driver for MX27 posted by Milan van den Muyzenberg in Wince6.0, it works smoothly! Kudos to Milan van den Muyzenberg. Thank you for sharing.
Boštjan or kkk it is possible that any of you can send me and image working with this driver. I don't have platform builder :(. My e-mail is jldc678@gmail.com Thanks in advance!
