I'm working with a board mini-2440, and I design the software in Visual
Basic.Net

and I need to make that the equipment is off, from the application or
program,
how I could design the shutdown or power off,  as made in other versions
from Windows?

You will need to tap into the registry and use pinvoke to do this. I don't
think it's really shutdown, but more of a suspend.
