Hi, I have two micro2440s. I made connection between them with an Ethernet cable. But the connection is not stable. After a few minutes the connection seems to me to brake down for a few seconds. For example: I used ping. The result is the next: 193 packets transmitted, 149 packets received, 22% packet loss round-trip min/avg/max = 0.593/7.581/1006.515 ms Why does it happen? Thanks, David
my ethernet connection is not stable (why?)
I have forgotten that the connection between the host and mini2440 is good and stable. (I have met similar problem earlier when I tried to connect mini2440 to host and the host was in vmplayer. That time I turned off the internet and this was enough)
Have you changed the MAC address on one of the micro2440s? Check for previous threads. Does each micro2440 communicate OK with the host? Also, I have found the mini2440 will not communicate with my Acer Aspire One netwbok unless I use a switch or a USB to ethernet converter. There appears to be some difference in the physical interface either on the mini2440 or the netbook. Good luck!
Hi, Yes, I changed the MAC address. They can communicate with host as well. I will check whether switch can help or not. Thank you, David
