Mini 2440 WinCE 6.0
Hi, Differen IPs from the same network. It may be conflicting with any other IP. If there is no issue of conflict IP then set target IP, check both are connected with AP and both can ping AP. If still u face same problem then you need to write the problem with description...like network IP, connection status, encryption mode etc, then only we can try to help you.
Excuseme my english, I speak spanish I installed WINCE on 2 mini2440, the first Mini has IP 192.168.1.232, the second ARM IP is 192.168.1.233, the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 for both MINIs and default gateway is 192.168.1.1. The cable is used for both MINIs CAT5 I'm using a linksys router with address 192.168.1.1. I have a PC with IP 192.168.1.2 If I turn on the MINI with Ip 192.168.1.232 and write ping 192.168.1.232-t receipt Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 17ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 But if you turn on the MINI with 192.168.1.233 address the following happens: 1) Reply from 192.168.1.233: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.233: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.233: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.233: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Timeout for this application. Timeout for this application. 2) Timeout for this application. Timeout for this application. Timeout for this application. Timeout for this application. Timeout for this application. Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 3ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 Reply from 192.168.1.232: bytes = 32 time = 2ms TTL = 128 That is: If the first MINI pings, the second gives timeout, then the pings second and the first timeout. This causes the 2 MINI are not connected the same time with PC. To solve the problem connect two network cards I have to configure in WINCE to fix it? The problem must be in WINCE configuration, but do not know what is, I set up the network as a PC The data in both MINI properties are: IP Information: Address Type Static IP Address: 192.168.1.232 or 192 168 233 Subnet Mask: 255.255.2655.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 Ipv6 Information (MINI 1 and 2) From Default Gateway: Not available Global: Not available Local Site: Not available Link local: fe80: 2204:9 f 6to4: Not available Auto Tunnel: Not available Auto Tunnel 2: Not available Auto Tunnel 3: fe80: 5EFE: 19
I would suggest you investigate what effect MAC addresses have in this situation. My understanding that both units need a different MAC address. There are many threads of what you need to do to change it on one device.
You can change the MAC address via registry. Just grab a registry editor and load it to a media card and run it from there.
No need to load a registry editor. just connect device to pc. And use "Remote Registry Editor" which installed by Visual Studio 2008
