Running ADS1.2 under Linux

Hi!
Did anyone try to use ADS1.2 with Wine emulator?

Why anyone need to run outdated IDE and moreover, do it wrong way (in
wine)?

People ask about how to create binaries under Linux w/o using GCC . Ok,
I'll try to check it by myself.
An ancient wisdom says: when you deny something, try to offer something
instead. Some people cannot buy Windows, Keil, IAR, Atollic Studio, boards
for $200, multi-core computers...
IMHO, I like Metrowerks from Palm PDA. It do it's work, do it fast.
For instance MRE by Mediatek use ADS too.

Well, for PalmOS development MW Codewarrior was the only option, and yes,
it was good.
But ADS1.2 nowadays is too poor. Anyway, the version that comes on CD with
mini2440 is pirated, so what difference - use one (poor) pirated IDE or
another (very good)? I mean Keil, which can be found on the net. Also, why
use wine, when you can use VirtualBox (free) - exceptional quality
emulator.
