Power for the Tiny210

Alex Freed
I need to use the Tiny210 but not with the SDK2 "motherboard".
What is not clear at all: do I need to supply both 5V and 3.3V power to the
module?
On one hand the SDK2 schematics shows a 5V to 3.3V regulator (AMS1086).
On the other hand the Tiny210 schematics shows an internal regulator - U18.
That suggests that a single 5V supply should be OK. Is it?

Hi Alex,

You will need to feed it 5V. The board has built-in vregs that will step
down the voltage down from 5V to 3.3V. Just power the molex connector
that's closest to the power switch (I would verify that with the schematics
first). If I'm not mistaken, all the boards are pretty much the same (Vin,
GND, GND, 5V). The power switch cuts the power between Vin and 5V. Good
luck
