Hello all, I purchased a friendlyarm tiny6410 as a platform for satellite navigation via my cars OEM display. As a hobbyist (and an old man) I've combed the web looking for others experiences on the matter but not having too much luck. No probs creating a Win6.0 image - that I can do but what I'm trying to do is create an image that starts the 6410 into CE6, with TV-OUT as the default display at best resolution with openGL actually working (got a h43 display and the demos in OpenGL 1 & 2 don't seem to do much). Any assistance, guidience, advise (whatever is available) is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
TV-OUTON as default startup (Tiny6410) - begging your help
Hi Mark, Just to confirm, you don't want to use the LCD display? You just want it to output to the TV on startup right?
It is not easy to reach it . and the 6410's TV-OUT looks not good. But Mini210S has the HDMI-out on start-up.and has better vision. Mindee
Hey MarkSW, Sorry for the late response. I agree with mindee, the Mini210s has HDMI output. It supports up to 1920x1080 at 30FPS. Plus, there is an app that comes with the bsp that you can use to output to tv directly.
Thanks for the reply guys. The mini6410 also comes with a test app that turns TV-OUT on and off - so there's a trigger just have no idea what it is. Changing platforms at this stage isn't really my a preference though and it's hard believe there isn't a simpler solution. Again, thanks anyway.
Just as post script, it surprises me that FriendlyArm didn't consider the built-in tv-out a driver choice - just saying...
Hello Mark, I hope you've found an answer. If not, then I would really suggest the Mini210s. As of now, I have my Mini210s plugged into a TV via HDMI. Right after bootup, it shows up on the TV. I think the same can be done for the Mini6410, but it's been done for the Mini210s.
