Tiny 210 Android touchscreen calibration

Todd Sjolander
Is there a way to calibrate the touchscreen for the tiny 210 running
Android 4.0.3? I've got the W50 screen, which looks and acts fine, but
when I connect the S70 screen, the video is off center by about a 1/2 inch.
So I lose a portion of the display, and I get a black bar on one side.
Also, the touch input is not off center (so I have to touch 1/2 inch away
from what I actually see). I've seen that there's a calibration app for
the 2.3.4 Android version. Is there one for the 4.0.3? Or maybe I could
install the APK of the 2.3.4 one on 4.0.3?

I don't have 210 board, but mini2440, and I've fixed 2 problem when
changing LCD screen (display part, and touch part). You'll have to modify
Android kernel to get that.

Hope this help!

I think you need to reflash android, as on first boot it does calibration.

Thanks

Yup, reflashing was the solution, or maybe setting the proper screen was.
I think when it was flashed earlier, it had the 5 inch screen. When I
changed to the S70, it displayed mostly fine (but was off center). Before
reflashing, I edited FriendlyARM.ini to specify the proper screen. Then
once it flashed, the calibration tool came up, and now it runs like a
champ.

Thanks for the help!
