Tiny6410 and Ethernet

Steve Montgomery
Hi there,

I am designed a product around the Tiny6410 but I have a question about
Ethernet.

The dev kit uses a DM9000, but I cannot find where to buy those. The
website for the manufacturer is really bad. In fact, if I couldn't see
activity trading for their ticker on the market, I would think they were
out of business.

So, questions:

1. Who are the distributors in the US for DavisCom for the DM9000 chip
2. Has anyone used the ENC28J60 chip with the Tiny6410? There is a driver
in the distribution, but I was wondering if anyone has had success with it?

Thanks.

If you need the ethernet connection only for seldom and low speed
communication you can use the ENC28J60. If you need more throughput you can
also use a USB to network converter device. Or one of the other supported
network controller with a generic address and data bus.

Thanks. Very good info. How about a disti for davicom?
