Problem during Loading

My mini2440 got hung up during when I switched it on. 
During troubleshooting I found that, one of my wire of Power Supply
Connector was removed. after re-soldering, now it does not start at all,
only Linux main screen ( with the baby penguin ) and down at the screen
cursor keeps on blinking.

Also, I shorted two wires at Adopter end connector since, in the kit those
two terminals are shorted. does this create problem?

Get minicom running on the host and using the serial cable watch the
messages during boot-up.  It appears to be getting quite away through the
boot process.

I don't understand the last question.  Which cable are you referring to?

Sorry, I was assuming your were using Linux.  If you are using Windows get
DNW running and watch the messages.
