mini2440 usb problem

hello.i have a problem when try to install wince.
first of all my menu

[x] format NAND FLASH for Linux
[v] Download vivi
[k] Download linux kernel
[y] Download root_yaffs image
[a] Absolute User Application
[n] Download Nboot for WinCE
[l] Download WinCE boot-logo
[w] Download WinCE NK.bin
[d] Download & Run
[z] Download zImage into RAM
[g] Boot linux from RAM
[f] Format the nand flash
[b] Boot the system
[s] Set the boot parameters
[u] Backup NAND Flash to HOST through USB(upload)
[r] Restore NAND Flash from HOST through USB
[q] Goto shell of vivi
[i] Version: 0945-2K

like this.
1. i press n for download nboot ok.
2. i press l for picture. ok.
3. when i press w for wince nk.bin my usb lost.
how can i install wince?is it possible?

When i have pressed W the usb get also lost, but it will be reconnected in
3 sec. And uploading the ce image works perfect.
Maybe you can try it on a other pc to know for sure that your pc is not the
problem.

i try it my 3 pc.....but problem is same..

is there any other way to install wince?

Did you install the USB download drivers?

yes i did it.i installed USB driver.n,l option works well but w option not.

Have you tried the supervivi version from the download section of this
website?

what's your dnw.exe version?

Hi, Did anyone ever find a solution to the "generic USB Serial". My desktop
won't connect to the USB port, so DNW does not work, Windows looks like
it's trying to find a driver but it can't?
 On a side note I've installed the same software on my laptop (DNW and
Visual Studio and the everything works great including Activesync. Any idea
how to fix it?

Try installing the usb driver from the cd you got, it should work.

Got the same issue..
When I try to download Win CE (w key) I lose the USB connection to the
board... and it doesn't come back unless I do a board reset.
Seems to me to be a driver conflict between USB2RS232 and board USB...

Is there another way to download an image beside the Jtag (I do not have a
parallel or serial port, only USB..)

I had same problem , try using DNW for both serial and usb connections, It
should work that way , 
you may need to plug out/in the usb cable once after pressing 'w'

same problem here did anyone found a solution?

I get the same problem cannot get the usb connection up. Tried everything.
This needs to be better documenteted what to do in windows to properly
install usb driver or else nothing works. what do you do when windows asks
for a driver where do you point it? etc... we need to get this fixed!!!!

Please give me the link for usb driver software. i installed drivers but it
is not detecting mini2440 when i connect it to Pc. I am using windows xp
(32bit).
