Here is a release build of a shoutcast radio player that is compatible with the defaulte WINCE NK.BIN. It is released freeware, anyone can do with it what they want. The application is a custom GUI (not windows controls) that allows you to select a shoutcast .pls file to Stream. INSTALLING =========== [1] Install WINCE6 on your Mini6410. [2] Start up "core" music player and then close it down (this step forces core to register with the system and make file associations). [3] Make a directory called "SDR_CE" in NANDFlash. [4] Copy the file "mini6410_webradio.exe" into the "SDR_CE" directory. The file is here: http://89.200.142.26/fraser/mini6410_webradio.zip [5] Within the "SDR_CE" directory make a new directory named "PLS". [6] Go to shoutcast.com and find stations you like, right click the sation links and save as "*.PLS" file. [7] Copy all your "*.PLS" files into the "PLS" folder created in step [5]. [8] Double tap "mini6410_webradio.exe" and enjoy. USING ===== Tap and drag the volume in the lower left to adjust. Tap and drag the station selector list and then select. Adjust you core player volume to around 50% before using the app.
WINCE - Shoutcast Radio for Mini6410
Oh yeah... I forgot to mention. I have not written in dynamic timezone yet. So serious users should set timezone in CE to GMT+1. Then the clock on the radio will read correctly. I will be adding alarm and sleep functions in a future release.
One more thing... Plug a mouse into your Mini6410 and you can use its X axis to control things like a dial. You can hack the mouse like I did and turn it into a panel mounted rotary knob.
