Invalid Image While Installing Windows CE

I have been following the PDF that is here to try and get Windows CE
working.

Following these instructions I can get SuperViVi-128MB working with my
Mini2440 with NEC 3.5" Display.  I can also get NBOOT.bin to install and
work fine through DNW Tool for Windows CE.  Finally, I am having an issues
when going into the "w" menu selection to install the .bin file
corresponding to my mini2440 and WindowsCE.

I found the image on the disk that came with my system which is nk_N35.bin,
when loading the image into DNW and on the board I get the following error:

Clear the free memory
Please send the Image through USB
Download Address-0x8c200000 Length=0x1b90310
BIN image type unknow
OEMVERIFYMEMORY: InvalidImage
----

Then from there DNW hangs up.


Let me know if you have any suggestions

I am pretty sure I am using Supervivi V2, which I downloaded off of the
FriendlyARM website.  It says BIOS Version 2 at the top of the supervivi
menu when communicating to the Mini2440.  

Is that version 2?  Or is there another place to get it?

Ohh yeah it is Supervivi-128M from the friendlyarm downloads section.

There seems to be a conflict between the image and supervivi.

Hey guys,
Just one question.. how to handle that in case of designing my own WinCE
(with Platform Builder 5.0). I'm currently using WinCE5, the newest
supervivi and the corresponding nboot. Unfortunately I have got the same
problem. Is there any fix or workaround how to upload the image? Pls. help
I'm frustrated :-( thx!

hi all  same problem here...
i folow the download.pdf to installing window ce , then after downloading
winCE's image, it works winCE runing instanly,but after the power off then
s2 select to Nand then power on, nothing in screen and on dwn  apear
messeage:
Start Windows CE...
Unknown NAND type

any solution..??

You must update the supervivi with the jtag;

hi all

updating through hjtag doesn't solve the problem. I've flashed with newest
supervivi version from friendlyarm.net withou any success.

probably there's a problem between older SDK (for PB 5.0) and newest
supervivi.. will try to generate WinCE image with newest SDK and flash it -
maybe this helps (since newer WinCE images can't be flashed through older
superviv versions -> maybe also not backward compatible! :] )
