hi, i tried connecting my newly bought mini2440 into my pc through USB port. when i turned on the power the supervivi main menu did not appear. what seems to be wrong? please help me. thanks
Supervivi Main Menu doesn't load
The serial cable is connected? The usb drivers are installed? The NOR/NAND switch is in the NOR position? Search for the <Mini2440 Downloader Instructions> Good luck!
1. to see supervivi you have to setup the serial port in dnw. 2. the usb driver must be installed, there ist no one on a windows installation. see linux download manual
You should have a secbulk.sys and a secbulk.inf file. I would think SuperVivi should still try to run and show the menu without the drivers. I assume you have dwn.exe installed? Have you got the usb download off this site? There is also a <FriendlyARM USB Download Driver Setup.exe> somewhere.
Did you read the "Downloader Instructions" or the "Linux Download Manual"? http://www.friendlyarm.net/dl.php?file=download.pdf http://www.friendlyarm.net/dl.php?file=linux_download.pdf
Hi, any one have the vivi or super vivi or u-boot bin file for NOR flash (2MB)to burn through JTAG. i am using (new) mini S3C2440 128 NAND Board. When i flash the supervivi bin which i got from site, says some thing like not nand flash in serial port after the successful flash Regards silbu
Hi, I have the same problem of "silbu"with the 256 MB nand mini2440 board... I used the supervivi-128MB, downloaded from the site, to flash the NOR but I realized that the file downloaded isn't a .bin. Regards, Marco
I got the same problem. Could resolve a step after I connected a null modem. Now the problem is my DNW / Hyperterminal could not detect key board Thanks, Trinath
hi , Iam not sure of the solution , but u can try , exchange the serial cable connector of the board and PC , i e DB-9 connector of Serial cable which u have connected to board , connect it to PC and vice - versa. Naveen
