Faulty USB :(

I had purchased this mini2440 board from China, after delivery i found that
i am unable to attach any usb device with the mini2440, my keyboard lights
blinked on regular intervals and there was no mouse detection nor any usb
device :( i tried to flash every OS accompanied but all failed. On close
inspection i found that there is no connection on the board for usb
connector's D+ and further more there is no connection strip in the
connector itself :(. I am unable to connect any usb device. And i am unable
to replace the connector as i haven't such an equipment to do the job. Any
Suggestions ?

You mean there are connections missing in the physical USB connector.  Most
unusual!  Either you have to return the board or buy another connector and
replace it.

Probably one of the easier bits to replace but you may want to get someone
with the right experience to do it for you.

yeah! the actual pin is missing :( I will try to replace the connector by
getting some help from my friends :) but it is unlikely that FriendlyArm is
neglecting the QC, may they take this thing serious. I also bought a GT2440
which is much more cheap but lacking such a non QC thing ;)
