SDcard as a frequent/heavy-use storage on mini2440

Icarus
My project needs about 20-25GB of filsystem storage, where some large
log-files would be created, appended-to, and eventually deleted (after
being transferred to a server, or backed up on a USB disk).

Was wondering if it'd be a good idea to go with a 32GB SD-card for this
purpose, or similar capacity USB storage stick ? With either, and for some
reason, more-so with SD-card, I am worried about not-so-uncommon lack of
wear-levelling, and fear that with frequent usage, the card may get
corrupted and die on me, before the end of a year. For my project, I want
to keep it super low-cost, and a USB bus-powered 2.5" hdd may lead to
overrun of my target cost.

Thoughts, suggestion welcome.

cheers,

SD cards do wear leveling by their own.
