Can someone please tell me if mini2440 uses the Samsung S3C2440 or S3C2440A processor ? Also, is the production of these processors currently going on, or are they stopped and mini2440's are being manufactured from old inventories of the processor ?
Answering my own question... It runs S3C2440A (my confusion was with another AP called S3C2440X and an older AP S3C2410), as found from here: (web)www.andahammer.com/mini244-2/ Here's what I found on Samsung site: (web)www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/productList.do?fmly_id=836&am p;xFmly_id=229 So clearly, S3C2440's are no longer in mass-production. And only alternative seems to be S2C2442 and S3C2443. Now that is worrying, for anything other than hobby projects. And I was hoping to use it on something which is nearly professional, and has some volumes (100s, maybe not 1000s), but alas, that seems to be unwise. Heck, the price was just so right.
