can we build java application for the mini 2440 or not ??

You need a Java VM, running on your Mini2440. Developing Java applications
can happen on your host. At the end just transfer the java binary from your
host to the Mini2440 to run it in its local Java VM.

Why the ":)"? Something not correct with the answer? For example use my BSP
(refer http://www.friendlyarm.net/forum/topic/2737), run "ptxdist
menuconfig" enable the "Bytecode Engines / VMs -> jamvm" and you have a
Java VM for your Mini2440 to run your Java binary files.
