Hi, I have a Mini2440 with 3.5" touch screen running android. I'm planning to test the setup with 7" LCD touch panel. I have a question. Does any 7" LCD touch panel will work with mini2440? I mean what is the interface to connect the LCD panel with mini. Secondly, is there a recommendation on what is the best LCD for mini2440? Is Innolux AT070TN83 display the best option? Thanks. Xyeti
Moving from 3 to 7" touch display for mini2440
> Does any 7" LCD touch panel will work with mini2440? Yes. The only disadvantage is: the larger the display (resolution and colour depth) the more memory bandwidth is occupied for the LCD controller, e.g. the slower the CPU is. > Secondly, is there a recommendation on what is the best LCD for > mini2440? As long as you can build your own Linux kernel (which means to setup the required display timing for *your* LCD) there are no restrictions or limitations. If not, you depend on kernels that support the selected display. For the "Innolux AT070TN83" LCD this support already exists.
