fail to load wifi driver, hotplug missing?

Steve
I plug my usb wifi adapter and I had compile the kernel with the zd1201
driver I know because I seen the file zd1201.o being created.
but when I plug the USB WIFI, I get this error, what is the hotplug
firmware loader?, and how can I instal it?
