problems installingn SP1 for VS2005

Hi all, I,m trying to install VS2005 for further WinCE6 development. I,m
using a virtual machine with WinXPSP3 and all the updates until now.I
installthe VS2005 with the default option marked. once this is installed I
re-start winXP and start to install the SP1, once the package de compressed
the following message appears " The upgrade patch cannot be installed by
the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be
missing, or the update patch may updtate a different version of the
program....."
I have been checked that the SP1 beta is not installed, at least it is not
in the list when the "show upgrades" in add/remove programs option is
activated.
I,m stuck and can´t advance.

Check SP language, it has to be the same as VS language.
