Hi, I have recently bought mini2440 and it was running Qtopia. I wanted to learn using JTAG to burn latest bootloader on to the board. I have Jlink USB JTAG and It doesnt detect the board at all at startup. Has anyone has experience using JLink USB JTAG for burning supervivi on mini2440 ? it will be very helpful if you can provide some support. Thanks
Update: I am not sure if my board has gone bad but when I turn on the machine, I dont see supervivi on the serial port (in NOR mode). DNW is also not able to detect the device. Both NOR and NAND doesnt seem to work for me. When I tried using the JLINK JTAG software, I get the error message that "Unable to halt CPU" not able to connect to the device. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
This may not help you running JLINK, but have you been able to perform this
feat using H-JTAG and the parallel port adapter ("wiggler") that normally
comes with the kit?
At least that would isolate your problem to JLINK.
I do have a parallel port adapter but my machine doesnt have parallel port. I'm trying to find a PCIe card with parallel port so that I can try that one with the parallel port adapter. Thanks for your suggestions though.
