cross compiling linux kernel

Please Im ttrying to create a zImage from linux kernel version 1.18.36.3
and Im getting some troubles.

Tried downloading on FriendlyARM but couldnt use the zImages downloaded.

I want to creat an image for arm capable of fonctioning on versatilepb.

Don't understand your question, because: versatilepb != Mini2440
