I was using Mini2440 board, and I got hung "starting kernel" when I tried to boot the kernel. I got u-boot and kernel source from the cd coming along with the board. u-boot version is 1.1.6 and kernel version is 2.6.13. I'm not sure what might have caused this problem
It might have a pretty old version of Supervivi as well. I have my mini2440 for over a year and it came with 2.6.29 That board looks like it is about 2 years old. I would suggest H-JTAGing in the newest versions of Supervivi, kernel and root-Qtopia as found on the downloads page. At some stage you will have to learn how to get a bootloader into NOR, maybe now is a good time. Good luck.
Hi Dave, I while back I was looking at updating the NOR contents using JTAG but could not find any relevant documentation. Do you have a link to some useful information on how to do that? Thanks MC
