I thought I'd share that the TP-Link TL-WN422G works with with Qtopia using
the wireless application. It was extremely easy. This usb wifi module has
an antenna btw

Good find, and thank for reporting. In fact I was looking for a working USB
WiFi module. Will be very useful for a project I am thinking of.

Hi dlk289,

have you got the kernel sources. I have got the same
usb adapter, but my kernel sources doesn't contain
the drivers for that adapter.

thanks,

Hello guys,

I had a problem with Mini 2440. I managed to run usb wifi. Yesterday, i
entered following command lines:

#scan-wifi
#star-wifi wpa netName netPass

And, display on mini 2440 started to blink. After that, mini 2440
restarted. Now, when I turn on my Mini 2440 display is blinking. Nothing
else is happening.

Those this mean that I have to farewell with my board?

Thx,
Emil

I would doubt that you will have to say farewell to the board. You may to
JTAG in Supervivi again and start from scratch. But, first maybe tell
everybody what you were running on it, ie bootloader, kernel and rootfs and
maybe someone can suggest a few tests to help you get it working again.

Emil
Hi davaf,

Firstly, thank you for very fast replay. Currently, i am at work. when I
come to home I will check for kernel and other details. I did not change
anything on the board. I used fabric distro, qtopia 2.2.0.

I used following test. When i unplug usb-wifi nothing happens, just black
screen. Then, I plug usb-wifi display starts to blink. Previously, I used
usb-wifi, I need to check detail which type of wifi dongle is, and
everything was OK.

Thx,
Emil

They have also got a WiFi USB module, looks like it supports Linux, not

Found this wifi 802.11n usb module on amazon. Tried it out and it works
perfectly with the tiny6410 running qtopia linux. Haven't tried it with the
other kernels though.
