how install new driver in linux (mini6410)

I wonder how I install new driver my mini 6410 (linux 2.6.28.6) ??

(I worry about damage my mini6410 kernel because my term project deadline
is coming so I dont have a much time to fix or install new kernel)

I did before like them , but it is not worked (/dev/adc is apeared but it
is not worked correctly . it was gave me segmentation fault)

Application give you seg. fault. Please add some logs or try to debug with
strace ./program to test.
