I have a Mini6410 with the 7" touch screen display and the touch is very poor under either Linux or Android. I see that there is additional hardware on the back of the LCD PCB but I can't find any reference on how to use this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Dave...

OK. I managed to get the 1-wire version to work by removing R6-R9 and shorting R11,R20,R21 and R22. I noticed this was being selected on the boot debug output and suspected this was the reason for the buffer full messages. Now booting into Android 2.3 to try it out. Dave...
Hi Steve, no, it is an ST processor on the PCB attached to the LCD that is emulating the 1-wire interface. This is talking to an ADS7846 12 bit touch screen controller. You should have the schematic for the LCD on the CD/DVD that comes with it. I had to unlink the direct connection to the ARM Processor and link the 4 wires of the touch to the ADS7846. I am using the Android 2.3 build and it is built to use this 1-wire interface and the touchscreen is now a pleasure to use on the 7" screen I have. Dave...
