Hello All,
Now I have one USB bluetooth and want to install it on the board. I
have built the BlueZ within the arm-linux. However, I found that the Linux
kernel did not have the Bluetooth module. I plug the USB bluetooth and
there is 1-1 device under the /dev. How can I insmod the bluetooth module.
I wonder if the Linux on the board have compiled the bluetooth driver. Or I
have to recompile the Linux kernel within the bluetooth module.
Sorry, I forgot to say that my development board is the mini2440
I have done it. I just recompile the kernel with bluetooth driver. The original kernel in the mini2440 do not compile with the bluetooth driver.

hey, you just have to recompile the kernel using the following command: make mini2440_config and then make menuconfig you select the networking device...etc. I have select the all bluetooth-relevant options to built-in, then I download the zImage to the board, and bluetooth can proper functioning.
m using a bluetooth dongle of bluesoleil....i hav done the recompilation of kernel but still it didn't work for me...its detecting the usb device but it can't figure out that its a usb bluetooth... u hav mentioned that u hav built bluez within arm-linux...what didi u do actually...can u please mail me,,my id is niks290188@gmail.com...thanks could u mail me the zimage...plz

Hai can I am also working with bluetooth driver for mini2440 on linux. I got errors like this Documentation/video4linux/v4lgrab.c:34:28: fatal error: linux/videodev.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. make[2]: *** [Documentation/video4linux/v4lgrab] Error 1 make[1]: *** [Documentation/video4linux] Error 2 make: *** [vmlinux] Error 2 what needs to be done. and also can you mail me zImage which works with bluetooth driver? my mail id is karthikkm1987@gmail.com
plz anybody mail me the zImage with bluetooth drivers enabled .. m using x35 .. i tried to recompile with above mentioned configuration but it wont detect usb bluetooth dongle :(
