Schematic file in different format

nooarm
Hi,

Anyone knows if the mini2440 schematic files available in other formats
beside pdf? It would help a lot so that we can do copy/paste instead of
redoing everything for our project.

Thanks.

Copy/paste into what?

You can take snapshots on pdf

nooarm
hey davef, thanks for your response.

Copy/paste into a schematic design software. We're looking into doing a
PCB design for a carrier board. Most of the pieces will be similar to what
we already have here with mini2440/micro2440sdk. We just need to
add/remove some components. So instead of redrawing the whole schematic,
we can do some copy/paste.

And I noticed there are references to ".Sch" files in the pdf. I think
those ".Sch" files are what I'm looking for. My guess is they're not
available to the public.

Thanks.

OK. Which CAD package?

Might be worthwhile asking FriendlyArm if they would supply copies in the
.sch format.

Can't see how that information is any more "commercially sensitive" than
the .pdfs

Search for <mechanical format> as there were people after the physical
layout of the boards. Also, posting here might get a response:

http://groups.google.com/group/mini2440

Good luck.

I think these .sch files were made using Altium Designer.

Sounds good. I've sent FriendlyArm a query and will try the google group
you recommended.

Thanks for your help.
