Good morning I have tried connecting my mini6410 board with the pc. But I could not install the driver that is in the cd, I was reading this forum, and I found that the driver also serves mini2440 I install this driver. and I copy via SD flasher, superboot.bin file, and I put the switch S2, and turned on the board. I finally connect with the pc board, and recognized the board but I get error in the controller board. Could anyone help? please
I have a Mini6410 and I have not problems with USB driver on Windows XP. - Use SD Flasher to flash Superboot into the SD. - Connet the SD to the board. - Connect the board to PC using Serial cable. - Connect the board to PC using USB cable. - Install the driver FriendlyARM USB Download Drive include into the DVD - Open DNW and configure the serial port. - Go to "Serial port" menu and click Connect. - Boot the board using the S2(NAND Boot) then you will see the Superboot's menu in DNW. Now if you want to transfer for example the Kernel image to the board press K in DNW and then go to "USB Port" menu, click on Transmit/Restore now select the kernel file. if all ok you will see a window progress. Sorry for bad english.

Hi Tuxerito I have the same problem and I am using Vista windows and I have connected only USB cable and tried DNW software and it seems the USB connection shows OK, But after I click on connect menu I don't see below menus which are suggested in Mini2440 manual PDF file: [x]: make default partition on Nand Flash [v]: download vivi image to vivi partition on Nand Flash [k]: download linux image to kernel partition on Nand Flash [y]: download yaffs file system image to root partition on Nand Flash [c]: download cramfs file system image to root partition on Nand Flash [a]: download user binary image to Nand Flash, like 2440test, uCos2, U-Boot [n]: download Nboot image to block0 on Nand Flash [e]: download Eboot to Eboot partition on Nand Flash [i]: download NK.nb0 to Nand Flash ... Yo tambien me encuentro en bogota, y pues estamos empezando a manejar la tarjeta mini2440 y mini6410 con fines academicos, el problema que tenemos es que no sabemos mucho encuanto a que compilador usar, para diseñar los programas, y como pasarlos a la tarjeta. podria usted ayudarnos, depronto tener alguna forma de contacto, para ello?¿ practicamente estamos de ceros, cualquier cualquier, ayuda e informacion creame que nos sera mucha ayuda.. muchas gracias y espero su respuesta.
Hola. también en Colombia. Haber si ustedes me pueden colaborar. He intentado conectar una mini6410 en W7 y XP pero no lo he logrado aún. Cuando inserto SD card efectivamente el LED1 es intermitente pero ni en hyperterminal y DNW me aparece algún menú. Tampoco sucede identificación de la board en el PC (claro, luego de instalar los drivers). También he encontrado en foros que arrancando el Qtopia que trajo por defecto y conectando el cable USB (MiniUSB) WinXP la reconocería.... pero nada. alguna idea o ayuda. Gracias,
