COM1 is not working on friendly ARM2440

I can't access COM1 in my C# code and when I list the available ports in my
application it only lists COM2, COM3 and COM5. It's probably something
missing in the WinCE build I'm using. What can I do to get the COM1 port
working?
I'm using WinCE 6.0.
