Hello, I have very recently purchased mini2440 board. As my laptop does not have a serial port, so I am using BAFO 810 USB to Serial converter. All these days it has been fine with me but suddenly I have stopped getting the VIVI menu on my hyper terminal. When I connect using Windows Hyper terminal, after setting the switch to NOR and then switching ON the board, the prompt at the hyperterminal jumps to the next line but after that I donot get any characters on the hyperterminal. In linux, the minicom connection resets immediately after the board is powered ON. I have checked the USB to serial cable (by loopingback) and also the serial port setting as required ie 115200, 8N1. They seem to be OK Can some one please help me to Fix this problem.Is there any way I can get my board back to the working state. Is COM port mandatory for development? Please help.
