Hi, I am planning to buy mini2440 with 3.5" TFT. In that I have basic doubt like, does that come with the linux 2.6 preloaded or I have to port it once I buy it? I have to quickly build applications and on that aspect I have chosen this board. Please let me know whether my purpose will be solved if I buy this board. Thanks, Arumugam R
Board come with linux preloaded (at least my comes). There is available linux source with all drivers working fine so there is also an option to compile by yourself and use it. marek
Mine comes with qtopia, when I bought it in China a few years ago. It is very easy to load os in, because they preserved a nor flash, and the software in nor flash will guide you to write data to nand flash through a set of software and cable they shipped in the package. There is a switch on the board letting you choose which flash to boot from. For the nand flash os files, they provide qt, wince and android. Fred
