mini6410 development

Michael Hrabanek
I've been thinking about replacing mini2440 with mini6410. I've got
one mini6410 from andahammer for development purpose and I like the boost
in performance (which I found useful for my appliance as I use Qt as my
primary platform) but I've run to some difficulties:
1) I can't seem to find out how to build & run 2.6.36 kernel (not
using mainstream, but the tree from andahammer ftp server)
2) .. using prebuild binary kernel I always end up with kernel panic
using my own rootfs - I guess the problem is in building yaffs2 image
with which I've no experience in and jffs2 is no go for me as I've
found out prebuild kernel has no support for
I've never count on any kind of support but anyway - can you point me
to any source of documentation/howto/blog or anything which
pinpoints the difference between 2440 and 6410 development cycle? I
feel pretty confident with 2440 development but I just can't find any
useful info about 6410 (using free software only if possible aka 'no win7
or xp proprietary blobs here please')
UPDATE:
2.6.28 kernel seems to be working properly... I'll send more info asap

I made a tutorial for Debian or Emdebian on Mini6410. Although you'll need
help with Qtopia, you'll find there a "tutorial" for compiling the kernel
(2.6.32) including the source. Propably this helps:
