Mini6410 rs 232 serial cable dnw connection problem

Hello,

I recently got my own Mini6410 with 7" LCD but have experience with
Mini2440.

So, to the problem: 
I can not connect to the mini over dnw and also the COM port from Qutopia
"Serial test" program is not working. 
Untill now i have been working with the Mini2440 and it all worked fine.

So the trick question?

Can it be, that the RS 232 cable for the mini6410 must be crossover and not
the same as for the Mini2440?

I hope someone has the simple answer so i can start creating an OS.

I believe that is true.  I am saving a cross-over cable just in case I ever
upgrade to a mini6410.

I had the same problem and the solution was to connect the cable's own
mini6410, the cable from the factory. physically mini2440 the cable and
cable mini6410, look the same but they are not, so if the cable connecting
the mini6410 mini2440, you will have no connection.
